I know its late, but good fashion is never late. Side note, as a Pretty Little Liars fan Spencer’s character is getting on my last damn nerves right now. Ok, now back to the clothing at hand.
Some fans might criticize style director Mandi Line’s choice to put Hanna’s character in overalls, but let’s be honest, she is in the country. She cannot walk into a barn in the country wearing 4-inch stilettos without ruining them permanently. Sometimes a girl needs an outfit that’s cute enough to jump in the mud with. I love a good pair of overalls, reminds me of my childhood filled with them, and I think Hanna’s character looks totally cute in them. Plus with her perfect make-up and hair people Hanna did not stray too far from her character. She’s still Hanna. Just farm girl who might want to wear Chanel every now and then Hanna.

I don’t put Aria’s character on these posts as often as I’d like, because the fashion choices for her character are so different from my own. I’m a thrift shop girl as is her character, but she’s on like another thrift shopping planet that Macklemore didn’t even discover to rap about yet. Although, when I saw these pants, I knew we were on the same page. Hate the top, because cats are weird and throw up their own fur ball hair, but I love the pants. I rarely see metallic pants that have a print. These lovely little doo-hickies are made by 7 For All Mankind.

The pixie dust from Aria’s fashion stick must have struck my eyes several times today because Aria looked amaze in this outfit. Recently I’ve noticed fashion lines and people straying away from matching within the same color palette. Not wearing blue jeans if they have on a blue top and blue earrings. No more black on black on black. But with this outfit, who cares? The girl looks good and it works. Line, the stylist for Pretty Little Liars, must be a closet rocker, because she is always picking suck detailed motorcycle jackets for the characters. This leather jacket is collar-less, and it also has that drape flap thing going on. Love. I usually don’t like blouses on young people; I think they age us a little. But the blue leopard print blouse paired with the jacket keeps Aria’s character not just young but ahead of all the fashion trends of the season.

I am a sucker for any clothing line that can take clothes from the past and update them for today. It was rarely noticed, but this cute little fifties inspired dress that was worn by Alison’s character was one of my favorite fashion pieces of the season, hands down. This halter dress is perfect for girls with strong shoulders, weak shoulders, girls without a bust, girls in the Big Titty committee; hell, anyone who wants to wear this dress. It’s perfect for summer. The pattern would be a bit outdated, but Pretty Little Liar stylist Mandi Line is on top of that. Pairing the dress with this cute woven belt keeps it current and fresh. I want it now!
